I have enjoyed painting portraits of my own dogs as well as some family and friends' pets over the last year or so. Capturing the uniqueness and personality of each one is so gratifying. What a great gallery of animals! They all look so good together, and even though I haven't "met" them all, I feel like I know them by their portraits. I sure enjoy my portrait of Truman--every time I look at it I feel his presence and give thanks for him. Thank you for such a gift!
