Welcome to our home. Take a look around. The house was built in 1980 and is a fairly open floor plan on three levels. This is the main floor which has the foyer, living, dining, bathroom and kitchen. We removed a lot of carpet and some very dark and dated terra cotta floor tiles and replaced them with travertine (including on all of the stairs) and added wood floors in the living and dining rooms. We opted for a color palette of orange and gray with accents of brown and teal. It is always a work in progress and just last week we found a milkglass orange lamp from Pottery Barn on clearance! Lucky day since we had been looking for one for some time. I also framed two of my prints from my Etsy shop, Pictorialboom and hung them in the dining room. We built the wooden stairway railing ourselves because the existing one was pretty hideous and part of it was removed before we moved in and nowhere to be found. I know orange is not a color for everyone, but it is both warm and cozy as well as energizing and inspiring. I hope you enjoyed the tour.
