I did this artwork a year or so ago and just came across it again today.  Nautical styles are a mainstay in the giftware industry, so I am always working on how to do them in a trendy but classic way.  I am thinking of embarking on a new collection of these ocean icons soon, so stay tuned!

Vast Blue Ocean

The ocean is always refreshing and inspiring.  This is Point Loma, in the city of San Diego.  It is a long peninsula that forms the northern edge of San Diego Bay.  There is a lighthouse on the very end of the peninsula as well as a national monument.  I love the sound of the waves hitting the rocky cliffs!  It's a great place to just sit and enjoy the true beauty of our lovely little planet.
