Kitchen Reno Update

This kitchen reno has taken over our lives!!  However, the payoff is starting to appear on the horizon.  We now have all of the cabinets installed and hope to finish off the end of the peninsula base tonight.  Next come the countertops!  We hope to have templates made in the next week or so for the caesarstone tops.  We picked the one called "nougat".  Sounds delicious, doesn't it?  The backsplash tile is a sculpted white porcelain with a wave pattern.  The tiles are a beautiful size of 6 inches X 24 inches each.  They should give the room a clean and very fluid quality.  We need to pick our 3 pendant lights which will be installed over the bar soon.  Just haven't found the perfect ones yet.  We love all of the pull out cabinet inserts and the large lower cabinet drawers which will be perfect for pots and pans.  More updates to come later.  I wonder what our first meal should be in this new kitchen?

  1. Wow, it's coming along nicely! The cabinets are a beautiful color and it looks so much more open and spacious. Keep up the good work. I guess you're through the toughest part.

  2. Wow! I love it! Those cabinets are a beautiful color and so sleek! You have chosen well. It's looks fabulous! We know you are really going to enjoy it. Your installation job looks professional. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see the finished redo in person!

  3. It looks fab! My sister just redid her whole kitchen, these pictures remind me of hers. A long process, but quickly forgotten once you are living in it and enjoying it...
    Good Luck,
    Dolce Dreams

  4. Wow! Looks amazing - I guess you are doing this yourselves as well?! Even more impressive! I love your living room redo as well - as always your home is so lovely - I hope you will take a break from the projects soon and enjoy all your hard work!

I was admiring the beautiful couch you got for your living room - where is that from? Does it come in colors other than white? I need a new couch and have been looking around, but have to consider dog tough/camouflage options!

    Have a great holiday weekend!
